First on the docket is the Arizona Cardinals. Can Sam Bradford and the Cardinals stun the Rams at home, or will the No. 2 overall pick from 2010 - Ndamukong Suh - and company wreak havoc on the Cardinals’ offense this Sunday? The Turf Show Times’ staff make their predictions:go rams (@AndrewKulick)Cardinals stink.Prediction: Rams win, 36-3RamBuck (@lannyosu)The Bradford-led Cardinals have some solid firepower on offense, led by stud RB David Johnson. Johnson is healthy now, and given how the Rams are still looking for consistency in run defense, I expect Johnson to put up big numbers on the ground and as a receiver. However, I think several long drives will end in field goals, and ultimately the Cardinals will be forced to throw. This will likely result in #LockAngelesPrediction: Rams win, 34-20Eddie Perez (@iAmEddieP_)The Los Angeles Rams take on the Arizona Cardinals at home. Home opener, tons of fans out there, Watts-native Jay Rock performing pregame; like his hit song, you either with me or against me hoe! And no matter what, we gone Win, Win, Win, Win!!The Cardinals have Sam Bradford at QB. He’s Captain Checkdown, the same dink & dunk Sammy. Brittle as glass White Aqib Talib Jersey , I’m sure our defensive front will find a path to him & shatter ‘em. AZ does have RB David Johnson, and ya saw how Marshawn Lynch gave us fits with a few hard-nosed runs. TE Ricky Seal-Jones will have to be kept in check as well. The offense, expect them the have some of that rust knocked off that we saw in Week 1. The long ball will be more so prevalent. Todd Gurley will eat as well, but you already knew that.Prediction: Rams win, 35-17Michael Frank (@turfshowtimesmike)Rams just needed to get things going last game and they were back to their old selves. Now Arizona looked completely flat vs. the Redskins. No energy, no charisma, no passion, so it looks like their better days are far down the road. With Arizona’s RB David Johnson’s lone garbage time touchdown, Arizona’s offense was nonexistent. This game feels like a, “How bad is this going to look?” As the Rams will do what it takes to get to 2-0.Prediction: Rams win, 35-13Charlie Hiller (@charliehiller)While it’s only been 1 week, the Cardinals looked like the worst team in the West against a really average Washington team. I expect the Rams defense to get off to a better start, primarily because the Cardinals offensive line is probably in the bottom-third of the league. Ndamukong Suh wants to get to Sam Bradford and I’m not sure anyone is gonna stop him.Prediction: Rams win, 37-11Tevin Broner (@T_Bron)I will keep it simple. I don’t think that the Cardinals have the offense to beat the Rams. They don’t have enough weapons or line plays. Larry Fitzgerald in the slot will be a big mismatch and the Cardinals have interesting players on DPrediction: Rams win, 28-14Eric Nagel (@Eric_nagel)As the offense continues to mesh together, I think this team will have an easier time at the start of games. Also, pray for Sam Bradford’s knees.Prediction: Rams win, 30-10Skye Sverdlin (@skyeattolah)Mike McCoy’s first couple of scripted drives will be somewhat effective. Sam Bradford will find Larry Fitz and Ricky Seals-Jones here and there and David Johnson will look like David Johnson. Like last week, the Rams will face a good pair of guards in Iupati and Pugh. The Cards will play mad after being humiliated last week, so the game will stay close until midway through the second when they get Gurleyfied and rookie center Mason Cole proves to be the weak link trying to help on Aaron Donald. Rams win.Prediction: Rams win, 27-13Elijah Kim (@Big_EZK)The Rams home opener will likely be a good one, for Rams fans. The Rams defense will have an opportunity to attack Arizona’s weakness, the offensive line. On the offensive front, Rams RB Todd Gurley must be licking his chops as last week, Washington running backs Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson combined for over 150 yards rushing and 130 yards receiving (280+ yards). Look for the Rams to pull away early in the opener while limiting Arizona’s attack led by stud running back David Johnson and former number one overall pick Sam Bradford.Prediction: Rams win, 35-17kristianramirez (@kristianramirez)Suh is going to hit Bradford. Suh is going to scare the ball out of Bradford. Larry Fitzgerald is not going to be enough to save that offense. As far as the Rams offense goes. The rust has officially been shaken off. Gurley is going to hit his stride, Cooper Kupp, Brandin Cooks, and Robert Woods are going to do amazing wide receiver things. BOLD PREDICTION: Marcus Peters gets another Pick-6.Prediction: Rams win, 45-10Hotdaddywags (@hotdaddywags)The Cardinals looked bad against Washington in their opener. Offensively, David Johnson looked rusty and Sam Bradford looked like, well Youth Tyler Higbee Jersey , Sam Bradford, as they were able to muster just 6 points on the day. On D, they ceded 166 total yards to Adrian Peterson.Against Oakland, the Rams looked like a dominant team just waking up from a long nap. Pretty sure they’ll be woke for their home debut. Gurley eats, Goff finds his deep ball touch and Ndamukong Suh exacts draft-day vengeance on Sammy B.Prediction: Rams win, 30-17misone (@MightyorMisone)This might turn out to be the most competitive matchup in the division this year. I think the cards defense will be good. And once the rust gets knocked on on DJ they will be much better offense. However the rams could be the most gifted team in the league. I expect a battle early on but ultimately I think the cardinals will lose gas. Gurley should have a big day against them. 165 total yards and 2 TDs is very possible. Goff may have about 230 yards and a TD himself.Prediction: Rams win, 34-16TG25 (@MrTimGodfrey)Bradford looks solid for a guy with two bad knees and who is also not good at quarterback. Aaron Donald should have a great reunion with a guy he knew for all of one season. The Cardinals hashtag on Twitter is Be Red See Red, which is the worst one. NFL Hashtags alone suck, but the Cardinals are rock bottom. Pittsburghs is just Let’s Go, and still inspires their fan base more than instructing them to see a color. Bravo marketing, team.Prediction: Rams win, 35-9Sosa Kremenjas (@QBsMVP)I honestly think this game is just going to be a blowout. The Rams defensive line will absolutely dominate this game, maybe to the point where Sam Bradford doesn’t even finish the game. I also expect the DB’s to put the clamps on the Cardinals’ weapons. Offensively, the Rams will move the ball again. Establish Todd Gurley, work off of the play action, and hook up on some deep passes this time around. Oh, and look for JoJo Natson to make an impact as the new return manPrediction: Rams win, 40-10seattlerams (@seattlerams_nfl)The Cards gave up 216 more yards than they gained last week (which ties them with Buffalo as the worst in the NFL.) Their OL gave up 2 sacks and 6 QB hits last week to the Washington Redskins, I’ll say that the Rams will double that number this week, hitting Sammy B early and often.Even with the Rams playing in the Coli (where they were 3-5 last season) I just don’t see how Cardinals will have enough to get the job done.Prediction: Rams win, 34-14joeyaucoin (@LARamsRamsRams)The Rams’ passing game is going to improve this week, focusing away from Brandin Cooks, which means a big day for Robert Woods and Kupp. The Defense will also be better. This team is great.Prediction: Rams win, 35-3Sean Wilkinson (@Papa_Lurch)The Rams defense is going to have a field day with Sam Bradford. Hopefully he can escape without getting injured because no one wants to see that. The Rams will need to come out with a lot more fire than the first half, but i trust McVay will have this team ready to go.Prediction: Rams win, 30-103k (@3k_)The Rams are having bird on Sunday. You should too! Prediction: Rams win, 33-10Brandon Bate (@NoPlanB_)The thought of Ndamukong Suh in a Rams’ uniform sacking Sam Bradford in a Cardinals’ uniform makes me giddy. It’s going to be the Kevin Kolb sobbing in his hands situation all over again. Prediction: 36-9Another week, another shutout prediction for the Rams over their opponent. They entire squad will either be batting 1.000 or .500 come the conclusion of Sunday’s game. As a note, of the 19 TST staffers making predictions, only two have the Rams scoring less than 30 points. Two others have them scoring over 40.
